New Forest Fish & Shellfish in Ringwood
Where we serve
Ringwood
A market town on the River Avon with roots going back to Saxon times; there’s been a church on the site of St Peter and St Paul for at least 1,000 years, first mentioned in the Domesday Book. The town’s weekly market dates back to a Royal Charter granted in 1226 — this year marks 800 years of that tradition. Just outside the town, Blashford Lakes, once a working gravel pit, has been reclaimed as a nature reserve of lakes and wetland, now a haven for wildfowl and birdwatchers. Ringwood was also the birthplace of the modern British microbrewery movement, when Peter Austin founded Ringwood Brewery there in 1978.
New Forest Fish & Shellfish delivers into Ringwood as part of its reach across the region.
